Why did you join the military?
I always wanted to do special ops. When 9/11 happened, I wanted
to join the navy seals and my Mum said that if I did, she would disown me.
I became a New York City fire fighter and felt like I should be doing more.
I wanted to help the people who are protecting our country. We go in behind
enemy lines and pull out anyone thats injured. That's what all of us do.

What brought you to New Mexico?
I came here during a road trip 8 years ago, when I got back home in London
I found out that a woman I'd met here was pregnant with my child.
So I decided to move here to be close to my daughter. I've lived here for 7 years now
and have never been back to the UK.

What is the scariest thing thats ever happened to you?
Last week I had to cut away my main parachute and use my reserve. Its terrifying
because when your main parachute doesn't work, you start falling and if your
reserve doesn't work then you will die. When I had to cut away my main parachute,
I was 3000 ft.

Why did you start teaching yoga?
I felt that not many people knew about it and how beneficial it is.
And if I know more about it then I can inform more people about it. When I'm
stationed in different places I go to local yoga studios and practice there.

What is your most treasured possession?
My emerald ring - I got it for my 21st birthday. My grandad bought
it for my grandma on their 21st wedding anniversary. They met
during World War 2. My grandma was a nurse and my grandad was a solider.

Why did you want to study abroad?
Because I wanted to experience the American lifestyle and if I didn't take
this opportunity now then I might never have the chance again.
I have lived all over the world, travelling is in my blood.
